- Today's update is a bedroom set including new meshes for a bed frame, end table and table lamp, and a new bedding texture. All of the new meshes are low on polygons and recolorable. Find them on page 2 of the Bedroom section under Furniture.
During the next several weeks I will be moving to a new town and starting at a new job. This means I will have less time to update the site, but I will still be creating new stuff whenever I have the time and inspiration, and will try to update Pixel Sims on a somewhat regular basis. - Helena
2005-08-31 - I made some circle pattern carpets that match the plain gray and lavender carpets from an earlier update. All of the carpets come in two sizes, 1x1 and 2x2 tiles. Find the new carpets on page 3 of Floors under Building. I'm leaving on a work related trip early on Thursday and won't be back until Sunday. I will probably not be able to reply to any emails during that time, but I will reply when I get back. - Helena
2005-08-27 - I felt like making some clothing for a change, so here are six ribbed sweaters for adult females which should also work for young adult females. You can find them on page 1 in the Adult Women's section in Clothing. - Helena
2005-08-23 - Today's update is a set of two new window meshes that can be combined to look like one wide, curved window. Thanks to Jan (Hony) from Mod The Sims 2 for the inspiration. Both windows are fairly low in polygons, work on diagonal walls, and are recolorable. UV maps are available on request. The windows can be found on page 7 of Windows & Doors under Building. - Helena
2005-08-18 - Here is a door with a round window to match the windows from earlier updates. This is my first door, and it took quite a while to get it right. Based on my testing, it should work fine, also on diagonal walls, but let me know if you come across any problems with it. This door is also recolorable, and, just like with the windows, you only need to recolor the straight version, not the diagonal one. Email me for the UV map if necessary. You can find the door with some recolors on page 6 of Windows & Doors under Building. - Helena
2005-08-15 - Here are some more color choices for the men's ribbed sweaters. Find them on page 2 of the Adult Men's section in Clothing. - Helena
2005-08-12 - I'm finally opening the Clothing section with six ribbed sweaters for Adult Men. It was nice to make something different for a change, and hopefully there will be more clothing updates in the future, as well. I'm leaving on a little trip tonight and will be back on Sunday. During that time I will not be able to check my email, but I will reply to any emails on Sunday. - Helena
2005-08-10 - Inspired by the small window from the previous update, here is a big, two-tile round window to match. Just like the small one, this works on diagonal walls, too. It is also recolorable (you only need to recolor the straight version, not the diagonal one). Find it on page 5 of Windows & Doors under Building. - Helena
2005-08-07 - This Sunday I'm updating with a new window mesh for a small, round window, that's perfect for bathrooms, for example. The window also works on diagonal walls: There are two separate files for the mesh, one for the regular and one for the diagonal version, and the window will automatically switch to which ever version is needed. I owe huge thanks to JWoods and Numenor at Mod The Sims 2 for helping me make the diagonal version work properly. If you want to recolor the window, you only need to recolor the regular version, and the diagonal recolor will work automatically. You can email me for the UV map at helena @ pixelsims.com (remove the spaces) if you need it for recoloring. You can find the window and some recolors of it on page 4 of Windows & Doors under Building. - Helena
2005-08-05 - Here is another set of carpet floors to match my furniture sets. Find them on page 2 of Floors under Furniture. - Helena
2005-08-02 - Today's update is a dining set with four items that are all new custom meshes. The items are recolorable, and UV maps are included in the zip files. Again, the polygon count was mainly kept low except for the long window blinds that are a bit more complicated. You can find the set on page 2 of Dining Room under Furniture. - Helena
2005-07-29 - Here is the custom mesh living room set in more neutral colors in case the bright red was a bit too much for you! You need to download the original red set for the meshes, though, for these recolors to show up. The original meshes are on page 2 and the recolors on page 3 of Living Room under Furniture. - Helena
